Dustin Pedroia taken to hospital after HBP in back, status to be determined

Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia’s status for a three-game series against the Royals will be determined Monday in Kansas City, the Boston Globe reported.

Pedroia was cleared to travel with the team in the wee hours Cheap Jerseys Shop Monday morning following a visit to the hospital in Houston after he was hit in the back by a pitch in Sunday’s game against the Astros and subsequently experienced swelling and trouble moving his left arm.

“I get texts from guys telling me to hang in there,” Clemens told MLB.com. “I appreciate it. I have no control over it. I did what I needed to do. It’s not going to change me.”

Clemens, 54, received 54.1 percent of the vote in the most recent balloting. His candidacy has, of course, been affected by allegations of PED use. His career stats are Hall-worthy (354 wins, 4,672 strikeouts), and no matter whether fans and media believe they’re tainted, Major League Baseball has let them stand.

Clemens on Friday also talked up the first-place Astros, for whom he works as a consultant, and current Sox ace Chris Sale (“I get texts about Chris when he’s winging it,” Clemens told MLB.com.)

Elliott and Prescott clearly have a good relationship, and it makes them seem more Cheap Jerseys Team accessible to fans. That showed during Cowboys minicamp, when Prescott brought Raymond “Ray Ray” Melgarejo out onto the field to run some drills with the offense. Melgarejo, who came all the way from California as part of the Make-a-Wish program, got to hand the ball off to Elliott during drills, too.

The boost Prescott and Elliott have given to the team is measurable. The top-selling NFL jersey from July to October of 2016 wasn’t Tom Brady’s or Aaron Rodgers’. It was Elliott’s. Prescott’s no slouch. His jersey sales ranked fifth in the NFL over that timeframe.
