FSU catcher barely misses tag on wild leaping catch at home plate

LSU and Florida State haven’t gotten as weird as they should, but things are certainly heating up in Omaha on Wednesday, including a wild limb-flying play at first. The Tigers Jerseys Supply hauled a 5-2 lead into the top of the ninth, hoping to shut things down for the night, and FSU’s hauled in some pretty impressive defense.

Kramer Robertson, who’s fallen completely asleep in the College World Series, finally managed a single to center, then stole second to put himself into scoring position. That brought up left fielder Antoine Duplantis two batters later, and he reached on a fielder’s choice, but not before Robertson was involved in one of the most spectacular plays of the CWS thus far.

After Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina shanked the ball into the stands, it just magically glided into this fan’s open purse — easily the best defensive play of an otherwise mediocre game.

But also, let’s check out that celebration: She takes the ball out of the purse to show it off … and then puts it back in for safekeeping! Talk about convenience — she probably never even needed to take it out.

So instead of following the old adage of “giving that fan a contract,” let’s just use this fan as the standard of true athleticism and hope more baseball players decide to use purses instead of gloves in the future. After all, they’re fashionable, practical, AND they clearly work just as well as Cheap NFL Jerseys Free Shipping any glove.
