Five-star point guard Jahvon Quinerly said Saturday that his family has hired a lawyer, but he has not been contacted yet by federal authorities in connection with the FBI investigation into college basketball last month.
Quinerly was not explicitly named in the FBI documents, but he is committed to Arizona and was recruited by Arizona assistant Emanuel “Book” Richardson, who was one of four assistants (from various schools) arrested. The documents allege a $15,000 bribe from Richardson to Player-5, who “verbally committed to attending” Arizona “on or about August 9, 2017.” Quinerly committed to Arizona on Aug. 8.
The Wildcats (4-2, 2-1 Colonial Athletic Association) scored on their opening drive, a 20-yard pass from Jack Schetelich to Todd Summers, and led 21-0 at halftime after the defense forced three turnovers. Schetelich, 3 of 8 for 61 yards passing with an interception, scored on a 12-yard run in the third quarter.
Hunter, Malik Reaves, Trey Johnson and Rasaan Stewart picked off passes for Cheap NFL Jerseys USA Villanova.
The Black Bears (1-3, 0-3), who outgained the Wildcats 165-69 in the first half, were held to eight yards rushing overall by the conference’s leading defense. The Villanova MLB Authentic Jerseys defense held CAA rushing leader Josh Mack to 22 yards on 18 carries.
Chris Ferguson, 15 of 24 for 138 yards passing, threw three interceptions, and Max Staver, 8 of 17 for 73, threw another.
According to ESPN’s Sheil Kapadia, Wilson sought the help of Philip Goglia after recommendations from his wife Ciara, as well as his former trainer Gunnar Peterson. Goglia is the founder of Performance Fitness Concepts, a performance nutrition and rejuvenative health and wellness clinic.
Goglia increased Wilson’s daily caloric intake from 2,700 to 4,800, and cut out dairy and gluten. His days chowing down food look like this:
The diet has helped Wilson go from 225 pounds with 16 percent body MLB Authentic Jerseys fat to 214 pounds with 10 percent body fat.
“Still doing it religiously,” Wilson said with regards to keeping a strict diet. “Just trying to really focus on trying to eat really, really well and have great nutrition. I think it’s critical. It allows you to wake up feeling good, feeling strong. It allows you to excel throughout the day and have tons of strength and energy.”
Here is where the scowls and furrowed brows begin. Five minutes didn’t go by in the offseason without another conversation about how the Saints needed another pass rusher to complement a pretty solid line that featured Cam Jordan. They had two first-round picks, moved up on Day 2 as part of the Cooks trade … and didn’t end up picking one. Nor did they sign an impact pass rusher.
They do have Nick Fairley inside, on the comeback trail. They also have Sheldon Rankins, a 2016 first-round pick expecting to play a full season after breaking his leg in training camp last year. And they shored up other areas of their defense. But it will be less noticeable as long as they have questions up front.
