Jordy Nelson injury update: Packers WR still unlikely to play in NFC championship vs. Falcons

At this point, it’s highly unlikely the Packers’ Jordy Nelson will take the field Sunday against the Falcons in the NFC championship in Atlanta.

The Green Bay Packers will be traveling to the Georgia Dome to Cheap Goalie Jerseys face the Falcons for the NFC title game, but Nelson’s broken ribs will likely keep him sidelined. According to sources at ESPN, it would be extremely difficult for Nelson to play just two weeks after he sustained the broken ribs. He wasn’t cleared to play in Green Bay’s 34-31 victory over the Cowboys on Sunday, but coach Mike McCarthy said Nelson would be reevaluated Monday.

The Chargers played their inaugural season of 1960 in Los Angeles, but they moved to San Diego a year later and have been there the past 55 years.

The ESPN report said the Chargers will begin play in Los Angeles in the 2017 season.
